There are many ways to cultivate Pleurotus citrinopileatus. It can be cultivated on logs and mainly cultivated with substitute materials. China mainly uses bag cultivation, and various cultivation methods such as raw material, fermented material and clinker can be used. Here we mainly introduce the clinker bag planting process.
(1) Clinker Bag Planting Process
Culture material selection → Mixing → Bagging → Sterilization → Cooling → Inoculation → Germination period management → Mushrooming period management → Harvesting → Tide period management.
(2) Cultivation Season
Pleurotus citrinopileatus can be cultivated in spring or autumn. Generally, inoculation is carried out in spring when the temperature is stable at 5~10℃, and the optimal mushrooming season is when the temperature is 18~22℃.
(3) Selection of Culture Medium
Corn cobs, corn stalks, rice straw, broad-leaved wood chips, wheat straw, bean stalks, and edible fungus residue can all be used as cultivation materials. Straw materials have better effects after being crushed into powder, and the mixed preparation of multiple raw materials has higher yield than a single raw material. In addition, it is also necessary to prepare auxiliary materials such as rice bran, wheat bran, and corn flour with high nitrogen content. Among them, corn flour has a better effect on increasing the yield of elm yellow mushrooms, and the mixed use of multiple auxiliary materials has a better effect.
(4) Mixing
Keep the culture material dry and mildew-free. Prepare the raw materials according to the formula. The material-to-water ratio is 1: (1.1~1.3). According to the moisture content of the raw materials, the final moisture content of the culture material is about 65%. Mix the main ingredients evenly, dissolve the auxiliary materials in water, and stir while pouring the main ingredients to make the culture medium dry and wet evenly. Adjust the pH to 8~9 and prepare for bagging.
(5) Bagging
Use 22cmX(45~50)cm, 0.004cm thick polyethylene or high-pressure polypropylene plastic bags. Use a bagging machine to bag, and put 1kg of dry material in each bag. When bagging, make sure the material surface is flat, the bag is full, the tightness is consistent, and the bag mouth is tied.
(6)Sterilization
The bags should be sterilized in time after being bagged. High-pressure steam sterilization and normal-pressure steam sterilization are usually used. Normal-pressure sterilization is 100℃, maintained for 8~10h; high-pressure steam sterilization is sterilized at 0.147MPa pressure (128℃) for 1.5~2.0h.
(7) Inoculation
When the culture medium cools down to below 30°C, inoculate both ends under sterile conditions.
(8) Management During the Spawning Period
The temperature of the spawning room should be 18~23℃. The relative humidity of the air should be 60%~70%. Cultivate in dark conditions with proper ventilation. The sign of suitable conditions is that the mycelium is white, the fungus grows quickly and is neat. Regular observation should be carried out during the spawning period, and contaminated bags should be picked out in time to prevent large-scale infection.
