1. Culture Medium Formula
(1) 83.7% cottonseed hulls, 10% wheat bran, 0.3% urea, 2% calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, 4% lime, and appropriate amount of water.
(2) 90.5% corn cobs, 1.5% urea, 4% calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, 4% lime, and appropriate amount of water.
(3) 65% corn cobs, 30% cottonseed hulls, 1.2% urea, 2% calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer, 4% lime, and appropriate amount of water.
2. Culture Material Fermentation
Function: Kill insect eggs and miscellaneous bacteria in the culture material; improve the physical and chemical properties of the culture material, making it more conducive to the growth of oyster mushroom mycelium.
Pre-wet: Build a pile of corn cobs and other main ingredients, spray water or lime water to pre-wet the ingredients.
Mixing ingredients: Add various auxiliary ingredients to the main ingredients and mix evenly.
Build a pile: Build a long or circular pile. The length and width of the pile depend on the amount of cultivation and the site. The appropriate pile height is about 1m. After the pile is built, use wooden rods with a diameter of about 10 cm to open ventilation holes from the top to the bottom of the pile at intervals of 30 cm.
Turning the pile: The temperature of the culture material rises to above 65°C for about 24 hours. Turn the pile when the temperature of the material begins to drop. Fully exchange the upper and lower inner and outer culture materials, stir evenly, and turn 3 to 5 times in total. The fermentation time is about 7 to 12 days.
3. Bagging and Sowing
Scatter pile cooling: Before bagging, spread the pile of materials to reduce the temperature of the materials to below 30°C. At the same time, spray insecticides and fungicides before starting bagging.
Bagging: Bagging usually uses two layers of culture material and three layers of bacteria or three layers of culture material and four layers of bacteria; there are few bacteria in the middle and are distributed around the edges; there are many bacteria at both ends, evenly distributed and covering the material surface. Tie the open end of the fungus bag with a slip knot with string.
4. Bacteria Management
It is required that the material temperature is below 30°C, the relative air humidity is below 70%, the light is dark, the ventilation is good, and the oxygen is sufficient.
